When all alone at night
Dreams of madness 
Carry me afar 
Broken heart torn apart 

I lie awake, alone
Beating heart cries
Long dark nights, I lie
Tears streaming down

All the thoughts flash through my mind
In silence not a sound comes from my lips
The silent sadness overwhelms me
Was it all a passing lover´s dream
Or a midnight fantasy which carries me.

 The moon which greets the sun
The sun which warms the earth
The earth which cradles me - a womb.

It rocks me, it supports me
In her arms I flee my madness
Come rescue me.
The sadness flees
I lie in silence
Waiting.
