• October is falling,
Paints the leaves with her colors
The pine scented wind, rose splashed cheeks
The rings of fresh breath on cool air
    The orange gibous moon
Casts light on cow huddled pastures
The glisten of frost on old stalks
The crispness of air fills each breath
The smell of the first falling snowfall
I wish on the first evening star
As I dance in a moonbeam
searching to find the Big Dipper
    Find a direction.
    Whispering secrets

    In the night

    Night of night
    Brings a silence unheard
    Silent sounds
    Sinking deeper than words
    October is falling
    Is falling October
    October is falling
    In time

    I celebrate morning´s light
    I celebrate being
The violin´s song fills my ears
I ponder on moments long gone
    Those "God Bless" of partings
Or the meanings of last words
    Reflecting on moments, I smile
The oneness of all comes to be
The spirits of past in the present
    October is falling to bring
With her hope for the springtime
Song of the whippoorwill calls out
    Cries through the evening,
    Whispering secrets

    In the night

    Night of night
    Brings a silence unheard
    Silent sounds
    Sinking deeper than words
    October is falling
    Is falling October
    October is falling
    In time
